The Golden Nugget

I took part in the Golden Nugget on May 16th , which is a sprint triathalon. I had to swim 500 metres, cycle 13 miles and run 3.1 miles.....and I managed to do it without stopping so I was chuffed.

The family were there to help me finish-think the boys were impressed!

Beavers at Work

There are lots of wooded areas around Anchorage that are inhabited by beavers.Here you can see how the beavers have knawed the tree-they later drag the tree to make their dams.

Ian's Knee Op

Ian slipped and tore his meniscus last October so ended up having an arthroscopy to repair his injury. He has had a great recovery and is now back playing golf !

Now that the snow has melted the ground is a little wet & muddy. Wallace always manages to find the muddiest puddle and try to swim!
