Christmas in Alaska

We were guaranteed a white Christmas this year.
Rory was so excited on Christmas Eve-thought he would never fall asleep!
We missed all of our family back home but managed to see some of them on
skype webcam which was wonderful. We had Christmas dinner with our friends, The Brock Family.
We enjoyed a wonderful meal and then had lots of fun afterwards.

Hawaii

We had a wonderful week in Hawaii just before Christmas. We spent two days in O'ahu and five days in Maui .....sheer bliss.The hotel was fantastic -we spent the week relaxing and enjoying the heat (quite a change from Alaska!).

Life doesn't get much better !!

The boys had great fun jumping the waves at the beach..

We went on a trip to see humpback whales which believe it or not, migrate from Alaska to Hawaii to give birth! We were all mesmerised-they are such huge, graceful creatures .
